ABOUT ME

I am aretired English teacher and a long time horsewoman who has always loved writing fantasy.

The Magiskeep Saga began with a class assignment I gave to my students in 1984. Since then the first novel has gone through many revisions and has been joined by three other full-length novels and a number of shorter stories.  All will be published.

When I am not writing, I might be riding one of my three horses, singing in my church choir, singing solo performances, working as a community activist, or working to preserve the environment in my local area.  I also stay active with teaching as a substitute and I do occasional tutoring.

My blog: www. follywoods.blogspot.com

My Follywoods blog site focuses mostly on my adventures with my three horses.  Pictured to the left, is me riding PJ's Folly some years ago. PJ as crossed the rainbow bridge along with Russell R., the first horse I ever owned and competed.

Now, I have three other horses, Toby, Tucker, and Chance. I call them "The Boys."  I am not competing any more so most of my riding is out on the trails behind my house or in my riding arena where I still do some dressage training.  I am lucky enough to have been able to fulfill a lifelong dream of keeping my horses here at home with me on my "minifarm," Follywoods, named after PJ.

I also have a Magiskeep blog at: www.magiskeep.blogspot.com

While I do write about the novels there, I also discuss various newsworthy subjects.
